Ernest Borgnine ~ great man dies at 95!

Yesterday morning, around noon his son Chris left a message on my phone. When I called him back he just told me that Ernie “..he just passed five minutes ago. He was beautiful, he was peaceful and serene. He didn't suffer.” Later on his long time assistant Joyce told me that a young priest came to give Ernie his last rites. “The kid didn't know who Ernest Borgnine was, but he sensed something strong and indelible in that room of Cedars Sinai hospital and after giving his sacred rite he said : “I am proud and honored to be with you Ernest as you entered eternal life...you can go now.” Ernie took a deep breath and went on to the prairies of al di la’...
Ernie contagious laughter will be missed greatly. He will stay with me always: with his drive, his generosity, his wish to see everybody happy and his love for the good life.
