Madonna exited the Venice Film Festival with mixed, but positive feedback for her courageous direction of “W.E.” the film that depicts the most famous love story of the past century. American divorcee Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII. “Who is the man that give up the throne for the love for a woman?” Madonna asked herself. But she was more intrigued to find out “Who is the woman that will treat her man as a king to the remain of his life?” 

“W.E.” will be presented at the Toronto Film Festival this Sunday, Sept 11. I am looking forward to seeing it again as, curiously, my mind remembers the screening in Venice in b/w while I know that it was shot in color... Interesting, right?
