What a wonderful, loving idea to use the controversial date of September 11 to celebrate a wedding. Especially if the bride and groom come from different cultures... Robert is the first son of my little sister Stefania, and today he married the love of his life, Randeep, in a fantastic Sikh wedding ceremony in London.

I was recovering from a 7 weeks radiation treatment for cancer and I thought that I couldn’t make it. At the last minute I realized that, coming to the wedding, and embracing the love that was pouring in from both families, it would have been the best way to speed up my recovery.

And so it was!

I am very proud of this amazing couple and I wish for the world to take example and encouragement.
