Pierce Brosnan wasn’t very pleased, when I talked to him in New York, to go and present the movie Ghost Writer to the Berlin Film Festival, without its director, Roman Polanski, held in a swiss house arrest for the infamous ‘70s rape case.

I am very disappointed and very saddened by the course of events. In some ways, inevitable, but I would like to see closure for the man and his family and all the families involved, the woman involved, who has forgiven him. I would like to see justice done with some dignity and compassion for time, length of the case and living under the mantle of an exile and fugitive.

Pierce was in NY to promote Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. This could be first of a new franchise.

The very young and talented Logan Lerman plays Percy, the demi-god son of Poseidon and young hottie Alexandra Daddario plays Annabeth, daughter of Athena... What is Brosnan playing in Percy? --- Chiron, the Greek mythological centaur creature: half man, half horse. Not bad Mr, Bond!
